Valentine's Day Surface Design

This pattern design project showcases two Valentine's Day-themed seamless repeat patterns. Inspired by the holiday's traditional iconography, such as hearts and flowers as universally recognized symbols of love, I decided to incorporate these elements in nuanced ways. The first pattern features "Lovebug" motifs, light pink and red ladybugs adorned with hearts. For the second pattern, I created a tulip illustration, highlighting the sophistication of simple shapes and lines, and delicate movement. I faced the challenge of ensuring gaps of white space were filled in accordingly and that both patterns were cohesive and balanced.
